Grade E - £24,244 (National Framework) or £29,646 per annum (London Framework - if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) - There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £553 per annum for those working from home

Contracted Hours: Full time 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Home-based, with travel to meetings / training as required

We are looking for a Support Senior Administrator to provide high quality, effective enabling administrative support for the Regulatory Leadership Directorate within the CQC.

You will be the dedicated point of contact, escalating risks or issues to senior managers as required. You'll provide support for key Regulatory Leadership regional and national meetings such as quality and risk panels and team meetings, including arranging dates and venues, preparation of materials and recording appropriate notes / actions in line with governance arrangements.

You'll collate and produce reports for managers on designated activity, including collection and collation of data to enable effective briefing / reporting to management, and will also support Regulatory Leadership to monitor and improve adherence to CQC policies.

Another element of the role will be to upload Regulatory Leadership articles, events and recordings to the Operations and Regulatory Leadership news page and support the Regulatory Leadership Team Leader with CQC wide and sector specific Regulatory Leadership led calls.

What you will bring...

We are looking for someone educated to A-level or equivalent qualification level, or an ability to demonstrate appropriate operational experience.

You'll have excellent IT skills particularly in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with experience of using management information systems, collating and presenting information in a variety of formats to suit the audience.

You must be well organised and able to respond flexibly to changing priorities and deliver to timescales, with the ability to develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships at all levels.

We're looking for someone with attention to detail, who can work without close supervision and is able to support the planning, work allocation and prioritisation of activity on behalf of team members.
