Director Knowledge, Analysis & Intelligence

While you will have your own areas of responsibility you will be expected to understand all aspects of KAI work and for each Director to stand in for the other as required. You will be an active member of the Customer, Strategy & Tax Design Senior Leadership Team. Alongside your co-Director, you will manage and set direction for KAIs eight Deputy Director led teams and ensure that KAI delivers a coherent programme of analysis. Director Responsibilities will include: Managing and maintaining strong relationships with customers across HMRC policy, operational and Corporate Finance teams, HM Treasury (including ministers), the Office for Budget Responsibility, the National Audit Office and Office for Statistics RegulationWorking collaboratively with other analytical directorates, to provide strong strategic leadership for analysis and professionalism in HMRCSupporting Deputy Directors and others to ensure that HMRC implement effective evaluation, monitoring and research activities Working with other government departments to provide robust cross-government analysis to inform, influence and drive policy, HMRC operational and other key Government priorities Implementing and ensuring rigorous prioritisation and strong work management practices, championing analysis, maintaining a highly-skilled motivated and engaged workforce with a strong focus on quality assurance
