Job Description
As a Research Analyst, you will work collaboratively to produce quantitative and qualitative analysis, enabling the regulator to develop and communicate a strong understanding of sector risks and strategic issues, as well as informing our regulatory approach as it continues to evolve in light of changes to the policy and operating environment. This role will deliver analysis to support regulation of the full range of the regulators standards, with opportunities to work in projects that cover both economic and consumer regulation.You will work as part of a small team to deliver an analytical programme focused on strategic issues and risks to the social housing sector that will inform regulators, providers and other stakeholders including central government. Your projects will include in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis on market trends and sector risks, for example covering market structures, building safety, new supply of housing, tenant satisfaction, rents and service charges, providers risk management and the condition of existing stock. Analytical results are communicated both in written form and as presentations to a range of internal and external audiences. This may include contributing to regulatory publications including the Sector Risk Profile and accredited official statistics.
