Job Description

Your key responsibilities will be to:   Analyse data and use this analysis to create compelling, evidence-based and actionable data stories to share with stakeholders to drive decisions and inform the iterative design of the service or product.     Provide recommendations for action based on data in easily understandable and engaging ways - such as dashboards, show and tells, blog posts and other data visualisation methods Define, implement and promote standards/polices to ensure technical and analytical best practice and continuous improvement across all areas of Digital performance analytics data collection, configuration of digital analytics and tagging, performance reporting and generating insight through compelling data stories.  Lead the performance analysis of your area to make sure services meet the performance requirements set out in the Digital Service Standard and represent Performance Analysis at service assessments.   Collaborate with developers to ensure analytical configurations are implemented, tested and updated accordingly.     Work with service teams to develop performance measurement frameworks including key performance indicators (KPIs), turning service goals into tangible performance measures.  Actively participate in the government Performance Analyst community to share examples of best practice in performance management.    Act as an ambassador for analytics, promoting the value of performance analysis.
