Software Developer

The Software & Research Engineering (SRE) group continues to provide complex software solutions to our customers and colleagues. Current systems are being developed primarily in C#.NET, Blazor and SQL Server, under an Agile development process to deliver cloud agnostic solutions. Emphasis is also given to GIS developments and open-source technologies to enable the group to support new and existing systems as well as move into new business areas. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: The analysis of customer requirements as part of a delivery team; The design and development of new software; and The support and maintenance of existing software under an accredited quality system. In addition, Cefas reserves the right to ask staff to take on additional duties and responsibilities which are commensurate with their grade. Team Leaders and management will have a discussion with staff to explain the changes that are to be made. A new job description will be issued if required.
