Job Description
TCoS is a small team within Career Management Support. The team is primarily a processing hub, responsible for the administration of all TCoS processes associated with an individuals service, ranging from promotions, contract changes, further service, future employability and exiting the Service. This is facilitated through extensive use of a database and Microsoft Office Suite applications. You will be responsible for managing and administrating group mailboxes, effectively prioritising emails, processing requests that fall within your allocation and forwarding other requests to the relevant clerk.This job description is a general outline of the roles duties and responsibilities and may be amended as the team evolves. The post holder may be required to undertake other duties as required from time to time.Understand and know how to navigate relevant policy and publications.Be the point of contact for general queries within your allocated group mailbox.Train for, develop an understanding of and carry out the tasks required for your TCoS role including:Management and processing of promotion tasks including substantiationsManagement and processing of re-engagement/change in commission task including offers, returns and withdrawals, re-mustering and Profession transfersManagement and processing of Early Terminations from Service including Voluntary Withdrawals, discipline and medical exitsManagement and processing of Employment Review Boards (ERB) including monthly ERB updatesManagement and processing Extension of Service (EoS) BoardsUnderstand the use of Scio in TCoS tasks including running rank review reports on ScioWeekly maintenance checks on registersAssisting with data cleansing projectsAssisting with correction tasksSupport other TCoS AOs in their role when required
