We're currently recruiting a dedicated Finance Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Chartwells on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Processing and reconciling daily payment card banking from Restaurant, Bar & Reception and making corrections where necessary.
  • Sales/Purchase Ledger
  • Input of daily revenue figures and reconciliations
  • Producing and monitoring cost trackers
  • Issuing of purchase orders
  • Processing stock counts and producing flash documents
  • Producing Excel spreadsheets and word documents
  • New supplier set-ups
  • Investigating and resolving financial queries
  • Completing end of week requirements
Our ideal Finance Assistant will:
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Numerically minded
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated, a quick learner with a can-do attitude.
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Highly organised, with dedication to your work to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and that all daily/weekly/monthly deadlines are met.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and Opera systems
  • Hotel Accounts/Administration experience would be advantageous.
