Purpose of the Role:
As a Chef Manager within our esteemed Senior Living Team, you will be at the heart of our culinary operations, ensuring our residents enjoy top-notch meals every day. You will organise and supervise the unit in line with Compass Group UK&I standards, the contract specifications, and statutory regulations.
Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the highest quality service, efficiently utilizing all resources, including stock, team members, and company assets. Additionally, you will oversee all cleaning activities throughout, ensuring they meet the agreed-upon specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Manage and supervise all aspects of the culinary unit, ensuring compliance with Compass Group UK&I standards and statutory regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently manage stock, company assets, and team members to deliver quality service while minimizing waste.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest standards, maintaining consistency and meeting dietary requirements of residents.
  • Hygiene and Cleanliness: Oversee cleaning activities throughout the Court, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or healthcare sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Passion for creating high-quality meals and providing exceptional service.
