We're looking for a Finance Manager (Invoice Matching Operations) to join the Source to Pay (S2P) team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You'll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of 'co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day'.

In this role, you'll form part of our Source to Pay leadership team, managing a team of up to 5 Team Managers and indirectly managing around 40 Advisors. These teams are responsible for managing invoice matching operations across all of our different businesses. It'll be up to you to forge influential relationships with stakeholders, planning ahead to make sure that the activity across your teams is well planned, has the right resource allocated, is delivered in line with business priorities, and that risk is managed effectively. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to showcase your leadership skills while gaining valuable exposure across our Source to Pay business.

What you'll do

* Lead a team of up to 5 Team Managers as direct reports and around 40 indirect reports
* Manage planning horizons up to 1-2 years ahead
* Build influential relationships with senior leaders across the S2P process from commercial buying (sourcing), supply chain, logistics and branches
* Providing challenge and support across the end-to-end process to create value from profit improvement activity, i.e. reduce loss
* Manage the operational governance of end-to-end S2P process
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the wider S2P process CBS and Source to Pay teams
* Work with technology teams and 3rd parties to maximise efficiencies through use of enabling technologies
* Responsible for matching circa 4.2m invoices with a total value of £10bn +
* Take accountability for managing service against key targets and maximising Coop's profit performance, cash management and working capital optimisation through effective management of S2P processes

This role would suit people who have

* Previous leadership experience with the confidence to lead and support the integration of a large team of colleagues
* A strong background in Accounts Payable operations with a global end-to-end source to pay process
* Experience of financial transactions management within a Shared Service centre
* Great relationship building skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
* Familiarity with governance, control and risk management
* Experience of leading, implementing and championing change
