About the Role

Are you passionate about using data to solve business problems and drive decision making? We have an exciting new opportunity in the Research & Insight Team.

In this role you'll be responsible for managing relationships with stakeholders across Product & Proposition, Marketing and Innovation. You will seek to understand their business challenges and deliver actionable insight to drives decision making. The role involves sourcing, analysing and interpreting internal and external data to generate actionable insight.

These insights will be used to help stakeholders:

  • gain a deep understanding into our members of today and customers of tomorrow,
  • develop and optimise our savings & mortgage propositions,
  • manage performance across our savings/mortgage portfolios,
  • understand channel usage and identify gaps and opportunities.

Responsibilities include regular reporting on customers and product performance, as well as deep-dive analyses on specific projects to support Commercial Office shared goals. All output will be story-led with clear recommendations and commercial implications.

About You

It's important you have a pragmatic approach to working with imperfect data, with a focus on eliciting meaningful insights.

You will have the ability to interpret complex issues, offer creative solutions and to present these in simple, engaging, and visual ways.

Your technical skillset demonstrates a high level of proficiency for Microsoft Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, and Cognos. BI Developer would be an advantage.

You'll be self-motivated individual who will take responsibility of tasks/processes and ensure they are completed along with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
Versatile, organised and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
A team player who works collaboratively, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Advertising Salary:Salary Details:Up to 48000 per annum ( dependent on experience)
