We're looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a passion for delivering high quality care.

You will be working full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Please note this role does carry the responsibility of on-call duties as and when required in support of the Service Manager.

Cygnet Ashbrook House:

Designed to a high specification, these supported living apartments are situated in the Bordesley Green area and offer homes with onsite support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

The service consists of sixteen self-contained apartments each with their own garden. Individuals will be supported to hold their own tenancy agreement with Halo housing, a registered housing association. Tenants may have previously been in a hospital setting and be ready for a step down placement within the local community.

Your Day-to-Day...

Ensure the team provides safe, sound & supportive care to the people they support

Work closely with the Service Manager to support the day to day running of the service

Be a role model to your team & provide effective leadership & management

Work with the family members, local authorities & regulatory bodies to deliver a high-quality service & promote a positive culture

Meet quality targets to ensure the service is providing the best support & care possible.

We are looking for someone who is...

  • A level 5 in Health and Social Care or working towards
  • Minimum 1 years' experience in a Team Leader position
  • A talented leader with strong line management & communication skills
  • Experienced within a Learning Disability/Residential setting
  • An effective people, time & task manager with a proven track record of working with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care.
