The Education Data Hub is looking to recruit to a permanent post in the Data Protection for Schools Team. We are looking for a passionate individual to support the Data Protection Team in delivering data protection services to schools and multi-academy trusts (MATs) across the country.

Significant experience of information governance and associated data principles principles are essential, along with good working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The successful candidate will need the ability to build rapport, work closely and communicate effectively with schools and MATs, as well as an ability to work to deadlines, operate in a systematic way and have experience of working with highly sensitive data. We are seeking to appoint a motivated individual with good time management and organisational skills, who has a passion for all things data protection.

This role will see the successful candidate process Information Requests, including Subject Access Requests, Freedom of Information Requests, Data Sharing Requests, Education Record Requests, Police Requests, and Individual Rights Requests. The role will also include management of the schools and MATs who join and leave the service each year, including contract monitoring and pricing. Also, management of the contracts for the compliance management platform that we supply to all Full Support customers, as well as scheduling and holding MAT on-boarding meetings to ensure they receive the required support with us at the Data Protection Team.
