We are seeking a dedicated and organised individual to join our school community, The role is crucial in supporting our governing body and upholding our school's vision and values.
Deer Park Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive educational institution serving approximately 350 pupils aged 4-11. The role of Clerk to Governors is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of our governing body and supporting the school's mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to the Chair of Governors and the governing body
- Preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes
- Maintaining accurate records of governing body proceedings
- Advising on governance legislation and procedural matters
We are looking for an individual who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in administrative tasks and IT skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion
- An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Familiar with or willing to learn about school governance
- Committed to upholding and promoting our school's values
