1 x 18.5hrs temporary post *18.5 hours per week (mainly lunchtime five days per week, though some flexibility is required to cover leave) Up to 4 hours per day (10am - 2pm) , over lunchtime, five days a week (Mon-Fri). Temporary until 31/3/2025 Are you looking for a job that fits around your family life? We are looking for friendly, customer focussed and enthusiastic people to join our Family Hub Team. Family Hubs provide support to families from pregnancy to the age of 19, or 25 if a child has special educational needs and/or a disability (SEND). WHAT IS INVOLVED? As Clerical Officer/Receptionist you will be the first person people see when they come into the Family Hub. You will support families, staff and a range of organisations to access Family Hub services. As part of your job you will be responsible for:
  • Providing excellent customer service either face-to-face, via email, telephone or social media.
  • Working with colleagues to promote our services using a range of media (e.g. social media, posters and display material).
  • Registering families so they can access the full Family Hub offer.
  • Providing information to families about services and support they can access within their community.

You will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs (Graded A-C) including English Language or Literature or NVQ Level 2 in a related subject or equivalent. Access to a car or a means of mobility support (if driving then must have a current valid driving licence and appropriate insurance) The successful applicants for these posts will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
