KS2 Class Teacher M1 - M6 £30,000 - £41,333 Full Time Temporary - required from 1st January 2025 until the end of maternity leave of the current post holder (TBC) The head teacher and governors of Bowburn Primary School and Nursery are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic, passionate and committed Y5 class teacher to join our welcoming, warm and fast-paced school. We strive for our children and staff to love being part of our community, ensuring they leave us with fond memories and a firm foundation from which to grow for the rest of their lives. The successful candidate will join our highly skilled and committed Key Stage Two team. Applicants should be someone with high expectations who is committed to raising standards across the curriculum to ensure our children reach their full potential. They must be able to demonstrate teaching which is consistently good or better. The successful candidate will: • Demonstrate an understanding of how to provide an engaging, imaginative and balanced curriculum • Have the ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice • Have exceptional standards and a track record of classroom behaviour management at all times • Be able to become an effective member of our school team • Demonstrate positivity and enthusiasm whilst working with children • Have highly effective teaching skills that promote the inclusion of all children • Have high expectations of children's achievement and progress Have experience of teaching KS2 Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and are available on either Monday 30th September at 4.30pm or Thursday 10th October at 4pm.
