Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant
Grade 1 £22,737 pro rata
7.5 hours per week
Permanent
Start date to be arranged with Headteacher
Framwellgate Moor Primary is an Outstanding school who seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to supervise pupils during the lunch time period to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working with children of primary school age
- Be flexible
- Able to work well within a team and willing to undertake training
Duties include:
- Supervising children during lunchtimes in school and on the playground
- Clear up spillages in the lunch hall
- Set tables, clear tables and chairs, wipe down and maintain general cleanliness of the lunch area
- Communicate effectively with pupils, maintain good behaviour according to the school's behaviour policy
- Work well within a team
Hours of work: 11.55am-1.25pm
This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
Essential Experience: Experience of working with primary age children
A school tour is available with Mrs Smith, Headteacher, for interested applicants on Tuesday 17th September 2024 at 1.30pm. There is no need to book a place, please arrive at the school via our Main Entrance located beside Chastleton Doctors Surgery on Newton Drive.
