If you answered yes to these questions, we would love for you to join our School Crossing Patrol Service!ABOUT THE ROLE We have a vacancy for a permanent part-time School Crossing Patrol officer. Your role will be to ensure the safety of adult and child pedestrians crossing the road at designated crossing points during specified times. This vacancy is to work at Carrhouse Drive/junction with Langley Road, in Newton Hall.Hours of Duty (Term-Time Only): Morning: 8:25 - 9.05 am Afternoon: 3.05 - 3:45 pm Total: 1 hour 20 minutes daily / 6 hours 40 minutes weekly Upon success you will receive full training, a uniform, and an appropriate retainer payment during school holidays.CASUAL OPPORTUNITIES We also have opportunities on a casual, as-and-when-required basis across various locations.   • You will need to be punctual, reliable, and have good communication skills.
  • You will require an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

Employees with less than 5 years' service will receive 27 days annual leave. Employees with more than 5 years' service will receive 32 days annual leave. For example: Calculation for employees with less than 5 years' service: 38 weeks (term time) + 27 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 45 weeks' pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments Calculation for employees with more than 5 years' service: 38 weeks (term time) + 32 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 46 weeks' pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
