About The Role
About You
As a Local Business Manager, you will manage, motivate, and guide our reablement care team, driving exceptional service standards and making a real difference to those we support. You will ensure compliance standards are met, and customer goals are achieved. This role combines business acumen with a deep commitment to person-centered care, making it ideal for a leader with a care background who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of reablement carers, providing ongoing support, development, and motivation
- Oversee service delivery, ensuring care quality aligns with client needs, company standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring open communication and exceptional care
- Maintain operational efficiency, schedules, and resources to optimise service delivery
To To succeed in this role, you need:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the health or social care sector
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team
- Knowledge of reablement practices and a commitment to empowering customer independence
- Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 4 or equivalent) preferred
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- To work flexibly and collaboratively across structural boundaries
- To be friendly, approachable, supportive and adaptable to change
- To have a full driving licence and access to a car
