About The Role

Salary: £31,800 per annum
Location: Harlow - covering West Essex
Contract: Permanent Full-Time, 37 hours per week
Shifts: 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday -includes on call responsibilities on a rota basis.

Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for transforming lives and fostering independence? We are looking for a proactive and driven Local Business Manager to lead our team of reablement carers. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals to regain confidence and independence, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our reablement services, and ensuring high-quality care delivery.

About You

As a Local Business Manager, you will manage, motivate, and guide our reablement care team, driving exceptional service standards and making a real difference to those we support. You will ensure compliance standards are met, and customer goals are achieved. This role combines business acumen with a deep commitment to person-centered care, making it ideal for a leader with a care background who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of reablement carers, providing ongoing support, development, and motivation
  • Oversee service delivery, ensuring care quality aligns with client needs, company standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring open communication and exceptional care
  • Maintain operational efficiency, schedules, and resources to optimise service delivery

To To succeed in this role, you need:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the health or social care sector
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team
  • Knowledge of reablement practices and a commitment to empowering customer independence
  • Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 4 or equivalent) preferred
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • To work flexibly and collaboratively across structural boundaries
  • To be friendly, approachable, supportive and adaptable to change
  • To have a full driving licence and access to a car
