About The Role
- Undertake assessment of needs, individually tailored rehabilitation programs and reviews for visually impaired or dual sensory impaired people.
- To provide professional guidance and consultation to colleagues within ECL Sensory Service, across ECL and sensory workers within Social Care
- To undertake supervisory responsibilities to identified team members.
- Ability to identify objectives and outcomes together with the means to achieve them
- Ensure the proper assessment, management and mitigation of risk, including Information Governance, Health and Safety and Business Continuity.
- Responsible for recognising a disclosure of a concern from an individual that requires a safeguarding intervention to be made and to take appropriate action.
About You
- A Diploma of Higher Education or Foundation Degree in Rehabilitation Studies
- Previous experience of working in a Senior position providing professional supervision to ROVI's
- Experience of managing a complex case load
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative
- To work collaboratively
- Ability to make sound decisions based on your knowledge and experience in relation to rehabilitation to ensure best practice.
- To think creatively and be confident in challenging the norm
- Valid driving licence and car or access to a car and driver
- 27 days annual leave a year, plus bank holidays, rising with service
