About The Role

Salary: £11.75 per hour
Location: Chapter House Day Centre, Maldon
Hours: Part-time hours 21 hours or 14 Hours per week.
Contract: Permanent
Shift patterns: 14 hour role: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 09:30 am - 14:00 pm
21 hour role: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 09:00 am - 16:00 pm
We also welcome applications from individuals who would like to join us on a bank contract.

To be considered as a Support Worker, you need:

  • To be passionate about providing a high level of care and support
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills
  • To possess an empathetic approach
  • To be willing to provide personal care
  • Basic IT skills
  • A proactive approach to work and be able to work on your own initiative
  • To be able to work flexibly depending on the needs of the work environment

Previous experience in the care industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Travel required across Essex to attend training, work at other centres, and in the community.
