Catering Assistant (Tiktok)

We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Assistant at TikTok 180 Strand.

Location: TikTok, WC2R 1EA

Rate of pay: £13.15 per hour

Working pattern: 24 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Key responsibilities

As a Catering Assistant, you will perform standard catering assistant duties and support our lunch service by ensuring that all members of staff correctly account for their meals using the Byte Buffet tapping system. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of customer service, food hygiene, and efficient meal tracking within our organization.

Operational:

• Assist in the preparation of food as per daily menu requirements.
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure food presentation is of high quality and adheres to health and safety standards.
• Restocking of Drinks and Confectionary Pantry areas across the building.
• Set up and running hospitality events.
• Assist in the management of inventory and stock levels.
• Report any shortages or discrepancies to the Catering Manager.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service to all staff and visitors.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure the dining area is clean, well-organized, and inviting.

ByteBuffet System Management:

• Oversee the use of the ByteBuffet tapping system during lunch service.
• Ensure that all members of staff properly tap in to account for their meals.
• Provide assistance and guidance to staff unfamiliar with the ByteBuffet system.
• Monitor and report any issues with the ByteBuffet system to the appropriate personnel.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure that all surfaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
