Hachette UK is part of Hachette Livre, the world's third largest trade and educational publisher. As well as our headquarters in Carmelite House, London, and our state-of-the-art book distribution centre in Didcot, Oxfordshire, we have recently opened five new offices in Manchester, Bristol, Sheffield, Newcastle, and Edinburgh. What you'll be doing

This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of HUK Non-Traditional Sales, driving the sales and profitability of Hachette titles through innovative and varied sales channels. You will collaborate closely with divisions to ensure sales targets are met, while aligning with our author and brand strategies.

As the leader of a high-performing team, you will guide their efforts within specific channels, nurturing talent and fostering growth opportunities to expand our business across all product lines

Who we are looking for

We want someone who has successfully run a Non Traditional team, has a proven record of success and is keen to further their career at Hachette.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and analytical abilities, exceptional negotiation skills, and outstanding organisational and communication expertise. They should demonstrate creativity, leadership, and team management experience, paired with effective presentation skills and a strategic mindset to drive business success.

This role can be based at our London office, or at any of our offices in Sheffield, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester or Bristol, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
