Salary Range: £38,092 to £45,389 per annum (inclusive of £3,000 per annum market supplement for Senior Social Workers)Work Location: Frimley Park Hospital, Camberley (Hybrid Working)Hours per week: 37 (part-time hours will be considered)Contract Type: Permanent Closing Date: 29 September 2024Interview Date: 3, 4, 7 or 8 October 2024

The Role:

Join our Frimley Park Hospital Social Work Team as a qualified registered Social Worker and work with dedicated health and social care colleagues to deliver excellent social work services and help adults leaving hospital to achieve the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs, strengths, risks and available support.
  • Triage safeguarding referrals and make informed decisions.
  • Manage a complex caseload whilst providing supervision for Case Workers and Senior Case Workers and practice advice on complex cases.
  • Build positive and professional relationships.

Requirements:

  • Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England (SWE).
  • A sound understanding of how to apply a strengths-based approach.
  • Understanding of social work issues, legal frameworks and social services' statutory duties.
  • Commitment to demonstrating our values and behaviours.
