The service you will work in....
This is a key role within the HR Service Centre where you will provide day-to-day administrative support to hiring managers and candidates. Whilst this role is mainly focused on Onboarding you will work with the wider HR Team to ensure we deliver a reliable service to all our customers.
A day in this role looks like....
As an Onboarding Administratorat Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our HR Service.Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.
A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:
- Ensuring the onboarding mailbox is monitored and 2 working day response time is met.
- Actively providing a positive experience and embodying all of Hestia's values in day to date tasks.
- Contacting candidates and hiring managers via telephone and secondly email and MS Teams.
- Producing and providing data and reports as requested by the Recruitment Manager.
- Drive a positive candidate experience for all applicants joining Hestia.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the onboarding process to provide accurate updates on screening and information regularly.
- Provide hiring managers with support and advice on the onboarding processes and procedures whilst delivering a friendly and efficient service.
- Carry out all aspects of onboarding compliance such as, pre-employment meetings, reference checks, DBS Checks, right to work checks.
- Ensure all new starters added to HRIS system and complete onboarding documents
- Support Managers with the administrational candidates onboarding process.
- Issue ID cards to the employees.
- Ensure compliance against agreed time limits and processes with regards to onboarding to support payroll cut off dates.
- Issuing employment contracts and arranging candidate start dates.

We are looking for candidates who bring a combination of passion, expertise, and dedication to the table. To excel in this role, you should possess:
- At least 1 years experience in a similar recruitment or onboarding role.
- Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Proven experience providing an excellent candidate journey.
- Knowledge of candidate compliance within a healthcare or social care setting.
