Leyland SDM is seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high hygiene standards in the washrooms and break room, as well as ensuring that the warehouse adheres to health and safety protocols. The role is vital in providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all colleagues and visitors.

• Clean and sanitise washrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the break room, including surfaces, appliances, and floors.
• Perform general warehouse cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
• Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to the warehouse supervisor.
• Ensure all cleaning activities are conducted in line with health and safety protocols.
• Assist with maintaining a safe working environment by promptly addressing any spills or hazards.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to support a culture of cleanliness and safety.

What key skills and experience are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within a warehouse or similar industrial setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good physical condition and stamina to perform manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks.
