Our mission is to build a connected, informed, and engaged community through events, education, and advocacy. We are looking for a passionate and creative Content Creator Apprentice to join our team and take charge of our social media presence, ensuring our messages reach the right people in the most engaging ways. Job Overview As a Content Creator Apprentice, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across our social media platforms. You will also monitor and evaluate the success of social media campaigns, using data insights to optimize our digital presence. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about content creation, social media, and community engagement, looking to start a career in digital marketing. Key Responsibilities • Content Creation: Develop engaging, creative, and high-quality content for our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), including graphics, videos, blogs, and posts that reflect the community group's mission and goals. • Campaign Management: Plan, run, and manage social media campaigns that promote our events, initiatives, and community activities. Ensure that all campaigns are aligned with our brand message and reach the intended target audience. • Social Media Management: Manage day-to-day activities on social media platforms, including responding to comments, messages, and interactions, while maintaining a consistent and positive brand voice. • Analytics & Reporting: Track and evaluate the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.), providing regular reports on engagement, reach, and other key metrics. Use insights to suggest improvements and optimize future campaigns. • Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with our online community, encouraging engagement and interaction. Identify opportunities to grow our social media following and boost community involvement. • Stay Current: Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and share ideas to enhance our online presence. • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure that social media content is aligned with broader communication strategies and community goals. Skills and Qualifications • Passion for Content Creation: Enthusiastic about creating high-quality and engaging content for social media platforms. • Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with popular social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and how to use them for marketing and engagement purposes. • Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to come up with innovative ideas for campaigns, content, and community engagement. • Basic Graphic Design & Video Editing: Understanding of design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design software for creating visually appealing content. Basic video editing skills are a plus. • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy. • Analytical Mindset: Ability to use data and analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements. • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, campaigns, and deadlines efficiently. • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a small team, as well as independently. • Willingness to Learn: A commitment to ongoing learning and development as part of the apprenticeship program.
