Private Capital and Family Office is a coverage business within the wider Client Solutions Group within Corporate & Institutional Coverage. We support the Corporate banking requirements of Family Offices and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (namely The Times Top UK Rich List). CSG is responsible for the overall management of relationships for Large Corporate clients whose turnover exceeds £100m. You'll be tasked to support the building and management of existing and new business relationships, typically across multiples entities facing into treasury teams as well as divisional management teams. Supporting a designated, sector agnostic portfolio of customer relationships, using your skills to identify and satisfy customer needs in the most appropriate way, meeting Group credit and profitability requirements. You'll be an ambassador for change, an early adopter of tools designed to improve the client and colleague experience and support your wider team to achieve their objectives.Job Description

Corporate & Institutional Coverage (CIC) is an origination and coverage business operating across the UK and North America and is responsible for the overall management of businesses whose annual turnover exceeds £100m. CIC consists of 9 sector-based teams including Services and Public Sector where the Private Capital & Family Office ("PCFO") Team sits. It maintains UK regional delivery through hubs in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, and Manchester.
We're looking for a strong performing individual to work in the Private Capital & Family Office Team, supporting a Relationship Director alongside the team with an active and growing portfolio. Our proposition is sector agnostic and relationship led which means we have a UK-wide client base and new business focus but with many clients centred around London. This role provides a tremendous opportunity for a high calibre individual to assist in driving our growth aspirations for this unique proposition, building marketing / relationship skills, and supporting to ensure that we're balancing profit, risk and return.
The role represents an excellent opportunity in a client focused role on a high-profile coverage team within Client Solutions Group. The Team currently manages an existing portfolio of 25 UHNW clients, their Family Offices or associated underlying businesses and investments. UHNW client investments are sector agnostic, the Team act as a central point of contact for the ecosystem relevant to PCFO's and as such have a good knowledge and strong relationships across the wider bank and Corporate Coverage Business. The team engages clients of all levels of complexity (including well-known Entrepreneurs, Billionaires and individuals from the Sunday Times Rich List) across the whole range of balance sheet, hedging and cash management solutions.
As dedicated banking experts with a deep understanding of our clients' requirements, the Private Capital team works closely with the full spectrum of product partners in Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Loan and Debt Capital Markets, Financial Markets, Cash Management, Trade and Working capital and as well as working very closely with colleagues across the wider Group including Private Bank and Cazenove Capital Partners, to ensure we support our clients needs. Crucially, the team also works hand in hand with colleagues from our Risk Function to monitor the credit exposure to clients and implement suitable controls to align it with our Risk Policy and Compliance Teams.
The successful candidate will support the management of a designated portfolio of clients and marketing the full range of products and services in order to achieve an acceptable level of profit, risk and return in line with agreed business plans.

What you'll be doing:
- Support on client relationships in order to identify and satisfy client needs in the most appropriate way, meeting the Bank's credit and profitability requirements.
- Review client proposals in order to meet their requirements and support finding opportunities to develop further income, recommending and implementing the appropriate solutions in tandem with product partners.
- Ensure Credit reporting, including Annual Renewals and VOTs, is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for modelling and preparing pricing proposals for MD and Investment committee approval.
- Manage the client interface on behalf of the Group and other interested parties in order to ensure enquiries and issues are satisfactorily resolved.
- Together with the Relationship Director and Associate Director, prepare and monitor account plans for the portfolio in order to meet customer profitability requirements and business objectives, in particular balancing income and risk.
- Manage any client-related changes to Bank policies, systems, processes and working practices in order to achieve operational improvement.
- Develop network of internal & external partners to build profile both in the bank and in the wider market.
