WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our office site.
About this opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Manager to join our Strategy, Investment & Business Management Team and be part of shaping the future of our Finance Platform.
As a Risk Manager you'll be a key player in supporting the Lead Risk Manager, working with the Finance Platform to coordinate the testing and monitoring of the risk and control environment. You'll work collaboratively with the wider risk community and control specialist teams to support the continuous risk management framework that supports safe delivery of change within the business.
Day to day you'll:
Lead risk reporting, risk administration and support platform leadership with risk management activities inc. Audit, Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) supporting the Business Resilience and Security Office.
Lead the timely and accurate production of high-quality documentation, reporting and analysis to support development of the control environment by collecting risk & control data from a variety of sources and inputting data into standardised formats to aid compelling storytelling.
Build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with internal customers acting as a business partner.
Support development and implementation of control strategy to monitor the design and operating effectiveness of the control environment across business processes.
Assist in the management of actions on operational risks & control self-assessment and business partnering the annual SOX cycle

What you'll need
A person proficient in both risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) and Financial Controls Management (FCM) systems.
SOX: Have experience in the annual SOX lifecycle and understands the requirements that underpins the process.
Action Orientated - Takes action and leads by example, communicating with clarity. Possesses a strong sense of immediacy, effectively delegates and experiments with new technologies/practices to bring pace and efficiency where possible.
Change Delivery: Have experience in working in a change management environment as you support colleagues in achieving their outcomes and associated benefits.
Effective Communicator: Have the ability to convey ideas through compelling storytelling is essential. Translate sophisticated concepts into clear messages for senior stakeholders.
Stakeholder management: Develops and improves stakeholder relationships to build consensus and improve delivery of change outcomes. Uses experience to manage conflicting priorities by facilitating discussion and resolution, persuading stakeholders to consider alternative views.
Data Analytics: Ability to review and perform good quality analysis, including resourcefulness in sourcing and validating data, to present recommendations.
Curious and Bold: You thrive on challenges and enjoy storytelling. Your ability to challenge norms will be key.
Clarity from Ambiguity: Uncover insights, identify gaps, and ask the questions others may not. Your attention to detail will drive business outcomes.
