You are a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with experience in purchasing and procurement. You have a strong understanding of the needs of Adult Social Care, Community Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, and Healthcare services. Your organizational skills are exceptional, and you possess the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You are familiar with direct payments and personal budgets, and you can offer support services as needed.

What the job involves

This role is part of the Purchasing Team within the People (Adults) Strategy and Commissioning team. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver the operational purchasing function for various Adult Social Care Locality Teams, Community Mental Health Team, Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities, Hospital Social Work Team, and the Continuing Healthcare team associated with NHS Frimley ICB. Additionally, you will help arrange and manage Direct Payment and Personal Budgets, occasionally providing purchasing support for Continuing Healthcare funded service users. On rare occasions, you will also support services related to Direct Payments.
