What you will do:

• Provide consultancy services to the Commercial and Corporate business, our customers, and our interdependent teams for our suite of transactional banking products.

• Undertake in-depth scoping activities to provide tailored solutions, optimising their cash management processes and improving transaction handling.

• Support business development/networking events and attend initial customer prospective meetings to present Metro Bank's offering.

• As an SME you will deliver training to frontline colleagues on cash management services to support referral opportunities, set up processes and know where to escalate.

• Support all tariff negotiations with a good background in competitor awareness and TCF principles to ensure we are presenting a competitive proposal for the customer that is commercially viable for Metro Bank.

• Create professional proposals to win new Commercial and Corporate relationships & agree Commercial Banking charge.

• Project manage the implementation of all cash management solutions for our Metro Bank Commercial and Corporate customers establishing strong open communication channels and a robust on-boarding process.

• Manage customers with complex transactional requirements such as FX, multi-currency payments and bespoke on-line banking needs.

• Support the bank's growth plans and be expected to achieve objectives set by the business in respect of income e.g. switcher volumes, referrals & service metrics.

• Support annual review of bespoke tariffs and income leakage initiatives.

What you will need:

• Extensive Business/Corporate banking knowledge.

• Customer management experience.

• Highly developed negotiation skills.

• Extensive cash management experience of products and services - both domestic and international.

• Tender writing and responses to RFP's.

• Knowledge of the competitive market, particularly in relation to technology changes and pricing.

• Enhanced presentation skills as you will present to Commercial and large corporate customers, senior colleagues and at industry networking events.

• Achieving objectives and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
