Job Purpose

Metro Safety are the preferred providers of fire, health and safety and building services to many of the UK's leading managing agents and property owners, as well as local authorities and major retailers. This role's purpose is to provide weekly/monthly testing a various sites and ensure any issues on site are reported.
We have a full-time vacancy for a Tester in Birmingham and surrounding areas including Wolverhampton, Walsall, Redditch, Solihull, Leicester, Northampton, Luton.
Alternatively, we are offering 2 part-time positions to cover the above areas. Part time positions are offered on a self-employed basis. Self-employed people are responsible for paying their own National Insurance contributions and Tax.

Key Objectives

As a Tester, you will conduct a variety of tests, including fire alarm tests, health & safety inspections, and sprinkler tests. All training and equipment will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
Complete weekly/monthly testing of fire alarms, sprinklers, tap temperatures on site, and vacant premises inspections dependant on the sites requirements.
Report any issues on site via the FSL app.
Reporting Line
This position reports to Testing and Inspections Manager, under the Director for Asset Services.

Education & Qualifications
Essential
GCESE's
Ability to use smart phone to report testing
Clean Driving Licence
Enhanced DBS check

Understanding of site tests
