About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Insurance Software Developer to become part of NFU Mutual's successful Pricing Team based at our Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon. This varied and challenging role will offer the successful candidate the chance to utilise their software development knowledge to play an active part in the design and development of pricing algorithms for deployment to live production environments.
You will work with the wider Pricing team to develop their requirements into production ready algorithms to enhance the rating capability of the business. This role offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate people and project management skills whilst leading and coaching small groups to deliver projects.
From day one, you'll become a valuable member of the Underwriting & Pricing team and a key contributor to the department, where you can make an impact and where you will continue to grow both personally and professionally. This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home.
This Pricing Insurance Software Developer role is known internally as a Principal Analyst.
About you
We are seeking a professional with Radar development experience who can also demonstrate strong knowledge of the insurance sector.
The role would suit an insurance professional who is seeking to take the next step in their career, utilise their sector knowledge and further develop their technical IT skills. You will benefit from working within a highly successful and progressive company which will support with you with full training for your role.
You will be a hard-working and enthusiastic person who is able to work collaboratively and build effective stakeholder relationships at all levels. You're also able to explain technical information to non-technical audiences in an accessible way.
