NIS Portfolio Specialist
About the role
Due to significant expansion within the team, we are looking for a Portfolio Specialist within our Wholesale Broking and Outplacement Services department called National Intermediary Services (NIS). This role will specialise in the areas of Product Development and Schemes/Affinities arrangements.
As a team, our goal is simple - NIS help our 300 office Agency Network to win and retain more customers by broking into the wider insurance market to support a specific need in their insurance programme. There are plenty of growth opportunities and more chances for progression within this team as you will be joining during a period of progressive change, where the business is set to almost double in size in the next five years. You can grow with us and contribute to it, which is an exciting opportunity to be a part of.
You will support the management of the supply chain relationship and assist in the addition of onboarding new suppliers to ensure we have a market leading supply chain panel that consistently deliver targets that supports the NIS team strategy.
You will also advise and guide on the delivery of relevant products and services provided by the supply chain and engage in the sourcing of new products and services where appropriate.

This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of "Good Repute". About you
You'll have trading experience either within an insurer or large broker in a market facing trading role as well as strong knowledge of the general commercial insurance market with technical expertise in commercial lines and Schemes being an advantage.
