About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Test Professional to join our NFU Mutual Guidewire ClaimCenter team.
Joining a well-established team within our Guidewire Centre of Excellence, this role encompasses several distinct types of testing including functional and non-functional testing for our ClaimCenter application. Working with both internal NFU Mutual resources and third-party software providers, you'll evaluate, undertake and document software testing across the ClaimCenter application. To ensure the team continues to develop, you'll coach and mentor team members and colleagues on their technical skills.
About you
You're a Senior Test Professional with meaningful, relevant, and demonstrable experience of IT software testing. You'll have a good understanding of non-functional testing. You'll play an important role in coaching and mentoring Testers within the team, guiding them on best practice and new technology. You'll be an excellent written and verbal communicator with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
To join our team, you'll have:
ITIL awareness and good mentoring, development or supervisory experience is desirable. An International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB BCS) Foundation Certificate in Software Testing or other relevant qualifications/certifications would also be advantageous.
