About the role
Ready to elevate your insurance career with a top-tier brand? Join NFU Mutual as part of a dynamic trainee cohort, learning and growing alongside a supportive group. We'll provide everything you need to become a skilled Loss Control Surveyor, conducting insurance surveys across a range of sectors including domestic, bespoke, and commercial.
Our comprehensive 12-month training programme pairs you with a Senior Surveyor mentor and Loss Control team for you to shadow on-site surveys and provide technical expertise. You'll acquire the skills needed for success, along with option to complete valuable licenses and qualifications like CII and NEBOSH. You'll build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally and support the delivery of loss control advice, so customers are able to implement effective improvements and reduce risk. Throughout your journey, you'll hit key milestones and receive a pay review upon completion of the programme. In addition, you will receive a subsequent pay review following the program if an additional milestone is achieved. We'll then continue to invest in your career development with opportunities for further qualifications and tailored career pathways
Once trained, you'll lead thorough site visits, providing crucial technical insights to our Underwriting teams and best advise our clients.
