Job Description

Duties will include, but are not limited to: Responsibility for the clinical management of patients who have been referred to the Regional Rehabilitation Unit (RRU) and/or attending a rehabilitation course. Preforming highly skilled physiotherapeutic assessment of patients referred by Consultants, General Practitioners and Physiotherapists with diverse presentations and complex and acute / chronic physical conditions and sports injuries. To use clinical reasoning skills to provide an accurate clinical diagnosis. To formulating, develop and deliver a specialised individualised treatment programmes and exercise programmes based upon evidence-based practice, manual assessment and appropriate clinical reasoning. Working with the Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor (ERI) to manage the day-to-day running of the RRU residential rehabilitation courses.
