Job Title: - Care Support Worker - Mental Health Trust:Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust Location: Newport Pay Rates: £11 - £20 Shift Patterns: -Monday Sunday, 7-3, 12-8, 7-7 About the Trust- Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, rated Good in their most recent CQC report, provides a wide range of mental health, physical health and learning disability services across Hampshire. Based in the centre of the South Coast, Hampshire has excellent transport links, with the M3 and M27, an airport in Southampton, as well as quick and easy access to London. As the Trust operates at over 300 sites across Hampshire, there is plenty of opportunities to experience either city, country or coastal life. What you can add: Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse Ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and well being Assisting patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above. What youll need: A minimum of 6 months experience as a Mental Health Care Assistant (Qualifications required to accompany individuals with 6-12 months experience) or Studying as a Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements, studying towards a Mental Health Nursing degree *Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
