Domestic Assistant

We are looking for reliable, flexible, and well-motivated individuals who take pride in their work, to work as Domestics Assistants at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Bensham hospital where we are committed to the delivery of a high-quality patient experience. The successful candidates must be motivated and able to work effectively on their own and as part of a team with a flexible approach to their duties and hours of work as the needs of the service must come first and you. You will play an important part in making sure we attain the highest standards of cleanliness within both clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital in compliance with the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness. This is a vital role and essential to ensure healthcare safety and compliance with infection prevention and control standards. You will clean ward areas, and other areas of the hospital, according to a schedule ensuring the environment is cleaned to the standard required, and that infection risks are kept to a minimum. Your duties will include but are not limited to high dusting, damp dusting, floor area, fixtures and fittings, low dusting and may also include food and beverage service in the patient environment.
