Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities Undertake annual Trust-wide Learning Needs Analysis to inform educational & OD requirements and costings. Designing, develop, implement and evaluate a range of OD programmes, prioritising leadership development and culture change. Policy and service development Support the development of policies relating to own area, i.e. organisational development, leadership & management. Write business cases, funding proposals and bids, as and when require Financial and/or physical resources Negotiates with education providers around complex pricing structures to ensure the organisation receives best value for money and return on investment. Manage the education providers and contracts with a total value up to £500k. Staff management/leadership/training Support, advise and guide the education teams in facilitating centralised education & OD function with efficient processes and procedures. Organise/support Education & OD events. Information resources / data inputting Inputs information on annual NHSE Education Self-Assessment document directly via the NHSE portal. Uses OLM and ESR extensively. Research and Development Research new educational modules and programmes across the region and beyond. Support managers in finding alternative education providers when required.
