Job Description

To ensure that clear strategies and plans are in place to deal with significant short- term emergency pressures adversely affecting service delivery.Maintain and update as required the EPRR Policy statement for the organisation.Produce and gain EMB and Board approval for the annual Winter plan for the organisation. And undertake a review of the previous years winter plan to highlight key learning and recommendations for future plans.Produce and complete the annual national EPRR assurance framework for the Trust (core standards) and complete the same process for the annual national Key Line of Enquiry for national interoperability (Via NARU). Complete a report for each process to assure the organisation of compliancy.Provide monthly updates to Operational Management team (OMT) and quarterly updates to Executive Management Board (EMB) regarding EPRR matters via a report.Be the initial point of contact and ongoing liaison between the service and the Military in relation to the Reception Arrangements for Military Personnel (RAMP) programme.To ensure the appropriate guidance, action cards, rotas and communication are in place for an effective response by SECAMB and all our staff in the event of a major incident.Provide strategic leadership to ensure that the Trust plans and prepares for major events and mass gathering festivals taking place within the Trusts area.Maintain compliance linked to guide to safety at sports grounds (Green/purple guide)Maintain a national security clearance level of Secret (SC) enabling the post holder to receive and retain highly sensitive and complex information up to and including secret as defined by the Government Protective Marking Scheme.Communicate effectively with staff and managers on a regular basis, both individually and at team meetings.
