Job Description

Cleaning To assist in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards of the Ward, carrying out monthly audit, reporting deficiencies. To ensure equipment such as drip stands, commodes, trolleys are cleaned as per policy. Catering To ensure there are sufficient sandwiches for the inpatient admissions each day. To act as meal-time co-ordinator, ensuring patients are prepared for meals and staff readily available to ensure a smooth meal time service with minimal disruptions. To give out lunch, assisting patients where required. Maintaining the environment To monitor service delivery of cleaning, catering and Ward environment, reporting deficiencies, and agreeing actions with Manager. To ensure defects are logged in call folder, closing when repair is carried out. Please refer to attached Job description for further information.
