Housekeeping Assistant | KIMS Hospital, Maidstone Bank|Flexible Working |£11.60 per hour Varying Shifts available: Monday to Sunday between 8.00pm and 6.00am Do you have experience in working as a cleaner or as a housekeeper? Benefits: Pension, Free Staff Car Parking and Holiday Pay As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will support the Guest Services Manager in the delivery of excellent patient service across all Inpatient and Outpatient Departments. To assist in providing a high-quality housekeeping service to all areas, ensuring that excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are both achieved and maintained. This is a great opportunity to join our busy Guest Services team as a Housekeeping Assistant. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, communal areas and offices. Role Responsibilities include: To provide a high-quality housekeeping service to all areas including patient rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring that excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are both achieved and maintained. Support the housekeeping team in delivering of excellent patient service across all areas and departments of the hospital. To work within infection control guidelines at all times when working within clinical areas of the hospital Ensure cleaning materials are used according to the relevant COSHH requirements. Person Specification: Have previous housekeeping / cleaning experience within a similar environment Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Possess some knowledge of COSHH, the guidelines that surround this legislation and how these would be applied within a clinical setting Demonstrate a flexible approach, responding to the needs of the department Be a good team player At KIMS Hospital we support our staff in building a career, encouraging them to feel their worth and enjoy their time at work.
