Joint Neonatal and Neonatal Transport Consultant

At NTS *Neonatal Transport Service Coordination of the transport service and decision support for referrals is provided by the KIDSNTS consultants using modern conference call facilities. *The rota is a 1:6 using KIDSNTS consultants with support from extra-contractual NIC consultants on a sessional basis; the support from extra-contractual consultants will decrease as recruitment to 6 WTE is completed. *When on clinical service, the KIDSNTS consultant will be based on site during the day and on call from home at night/weekend. *The KIDSNTS consultant is expected to attend at the bedside when patient acuity, middle grade training and service provision demands. *The job plan will contain an appropriate number of nights, weekends and bank holidays.
