Job Description
To provide admin support at Lakeside Surgery Sheepmarket Stamford to help ensure that adequate cover is provided within the admin team in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. Job Responsibilities: Administration To have a thorough knowledge of all practice procedures To work in accordance with written protocols Time management and prioritising workload Creation of referral letters, general letters to patients and hospitals and medical reports Liaison with Hospitals, ICB and service providers. Booking referral appointments , checking workflow on e-referral system and attaching referral letters electronically Liaising with patients via telephone Franking out going post and actioning any other tasks as may be appropriate or requested by line manager. Additional Tasks: Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Team lead/ Management team, dependant on current and evolving practice workload and staffing levels This job description is not exhaustive and may be adjusted periodically after review and consultation You will also be expected to carry out any reasonable duties which may be requested from time-to time.
