Primary Care Network (PCN) Senior Pharmacist

The successful candidate must have experience of working and influencing senior clinicians and have a proven track record of successful implementation of Medicines Optimisation projects. Primary Care sector experience is a plus. You will need to have a combination of at least five years post registration experience, a clinical diploma and a prescribing qualification. You will also need a great deal of self-motivation, sound clinical knowledge and computer literacy. The role will also be supported by a full training package, according to needs. In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a maximum payment of £1,845 per annum (pro rata where applicable) if based in Welwyn Garden City. Vaccination as a Condition of Deployment (VCOD) for Healthcare Workers - Candidates offered a role with Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, who are aged 18 and over and who will have direct, face to face contact with service users as part of their role will be required to evidence that they have received a complete course of an approved COVID-19 vaccine, subject to limited exceptions, by no later than 1 April 2022. This will include front-line workers, as well as non-clinical workers not directly involved in patient care but who nevertheless may have direct, face to-face contact with patients, such as receptionists and ward clerks. Experience of delivering education and training to undergraduates and postgraduates of various healthcare professions.
