Job Description
To greet callers at the reception desk, establishing their needs and requirements. Where possible to deal with patients needs personally or directing them to the correct person who is able to help. To make appointments for patients via the computerised appointments system. To answer the telephone politely and efficiently in accordance with the practice guidelines. To deal with patients wishing to register with the surgery, determining the appropriate type registration, ensuring the paperwork is completed fully and correctly by the patient.
