Cygnet have created an exciting role for a Regional Housekeeper that will support and oversee 4 West Yorkshire healthcare services. Leading a team of housekeepers, you will be responsible for driving best practice, ensuring compliance and high standards of cleanliness across sites who support some of societys most vulnerable people. Cygnet was established in 1988. Since then we have developed a wide range of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, eating disorders, autism and learning disabilities within the UK. You will be working 37.5 hours a week (Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm) but some work may be required according to service demand. This role will predominately be based at Cygnet Hospital Wyke. Cygnet Hospital Wyke provides a comprehensive pathway of acute admissions services for men. Our team works closely and collaboratively with service users, their families and the referrer to provide a seamless pathway from referral to discharge. Our acute service works to assess and manage risk factors, allowing us as a hospital to work successfully and robustly with individuals posing a higher level of complexity and challenge and who present a risk to themselves and others. Your role will include: Direct competency assessment of the housekeeping team members Leadership of all housekeeping teams Oversight of lead housekeepers and their teams compliance with expected cleaning standards Direct line management of lead housekeepers Prepares and presents compliance reports for clinical governance meetings Delivers planned and adhoc training as required Works closely with and supports IPC leads with achieving expected standards as per national guidance Oversight of the recruitment and competency based induction of new HK team members Any other duties necessary for the successful performance of the role.
