ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus asaSeniorCare Assistant will be tosupport and work alongside the Care team todeliverhigh standardsof personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive,andinclusive environmentfor residents,visitorsand staff. Other responsibilitieswillinclude: Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation. Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations. Supportingresidents with their medication requirements. Undertakingstaff supervisions and supportingstaff with their development whererequired. Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated. ABOUT YOU To besuccessfulin your application, youwill live our values of caring, supportive, honest,respectful,and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidatemust: Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes. Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment. Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Have a positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff. Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
