Why not come and join our team An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our busy Trauma & Orthopaedic team in the role of Service Coordinator / Team Leader. We are looking two candidates who enjoy working within busy and vibrant team, are able to prioritise their workload, and who can remain calm under pressure. You must have the ability to communicate with people calmly, sensitively and effectively both on the telephone and in person. A flexible and calm approach to staff and patients will be a necessity, alongside the ability to support staff through change. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, experience in dealing with patients. You will need to have the ability to use your own initiative, prioritising your workload to meet the changing needs of the department. You will be flexible, excellent at problem solving and adaptable with excellent IT skills The successful candidates will be responsible for the supervision and leadership of either the Spinal Team or The Shoulder & Elbow Team within the Trauma & Orthopaedic service. This exciting role is challenging, fast-paced and a great development opportunity in which you will be fully supported. As a Service Coordinator based in the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre (PEOC), you will be adaptable, patient and work well under pressure, enhancing patient care for our Spinal & Orthopaedic patients.
