More detail about the role: This challenging post will offer you the opportunity to provide the Administrative Service across our busy Orthopaedic wards. This role encompasses working within the Hospital setting whilst providing effective administration support within a multi-disciplinary team. You should be enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated and able to work independently and in pressurised situations. You will work as part of the Orthopaedic Ward administration team covering the wards to ensure that all administration duties are performed to help support the clinical staff. You will provide administrative, clerical and receptionist services to patients and visitors calmly, sensitively and efficiently both on the telephone and in person you will be working as part of a team and in collaboration with others. You will liaise closely with nursing, therapy, medical and supporting services to provide an efficient and effective service for patients. You should be able to respond to changing priorities and have the ability to work under pressure and be an excellent team player. You will be computer literate and have experience of dealing with the general public. You will need a good general education, proven experience in administration; a flexible can do attitude and the ability to use your own initiative. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday covering various shifts, earliest start 07:00 and latest finish 17:00. Interview Date: To be confirmed.
